About Casa Conveyancing

To put it simply, we take care of the business side of things while you get on with more important things…

Like buying and selling property!

Who We Are

Casa Conveyancing Castlemaine, Casa Conveyancing Bacchus Marsh and Casa Conveyancing Sunbury are divisions of Grainger Legal, a law firm based in Castlemaine, Bacchus Marsh and Sunbury.

Being locally owned and operated means you can come into our office and speak directly to us. If you can’t make it into the office, that’s no problem! We can conduct transfers for property anywhere in Victoria via phone or online.

We’re an energetic and dedicated firm, committed to building lasting relationships with our clients.

We are upfront and transparent about the cost of conveyancing, with no hidden fees or charges. For a standard conveyance you’ll pay a fixed fee of $1,000 + GST plus disbursements (which is a fancy word for extras such as certificates and searches). Disbursements can cost anywhere between $150 to $400 (depending on whether you’re selling via auction, the type of property that you are purchasing and the type of investigations or property certificates that your property needs).

We know the thought of disbursement costs can sometimes be unnerving but don’t worry, we won’t spend your money on unnecessary disbursements and we’ll explain to you what is needed and why.

What We Do

The process of conveyancing is simply transferring land ownership from one person to another.

It is carried out under the terms of a contract between the buyer and seller. A conveyancer provides advice and information about the sale and purchase of the property, prepares documents and conducts the settlement process.
