Caroline Grainger grew up in Castlemaine attending Castlemaine Secondary College and then Bendigo Senior Secondary College. In 2000 Caroline moved to Melbourne to further pursue her studies at Monash University and begin her law career with Slater & Gordon. She spent more than 10 years at Slater & Gordon, initially working in the Wills & Estates department and then spent many years working in the motor vehicle accident and workers compensation departments as a Lawyer and Associate. Caroline is grateful to be living back in her home town and to have the opportunity to use her extensive experience and skills to provide expert advice to regional clients.
Caroline prides herself on communicating well with her clients, aiming to understand and cater for their needs. She ensures that they fully understand their rights under the law and the steps that need to be taken for them to exercise those rights. She fights hard for her clients. She is compassionate and understanding about her clients’ circumstances. Caroline provides straightforward, quality legal advice.

Personal
Caroline has spent 18 months living and studying in Germany and speaks fluent German. Her career as a lawyer has also taken her to Darwin and Newcastle, before returning to Castlemaine at the beginning of 2015 with her partner, Jarrod and their son, Sidney.
Caroline has enjoyed reconnecting with the local community and being near family and friends. She loves the outdoors (Sidney has grown to adore being carted around Castlemaine on the back of his Mum’s bike) and can often be found running laps of the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens or tending to her much-loved vegetable garden. Currently, Caroline is the secretary of the Castlemaine Cannons (Country Basketball League) and has various other community involvements. She enjoys packing the car and going on adventurous weekend trips with Jarrod, Sidney and their newest family member, Jimmy.
